In such situations, the warning of citizens is the most important effort to prevent people from being harmed or killed. Through targeted and informative warnings, people can take their own precautions and efforts to protect themselves and relatives before, during and after emergency situations.
UMS Population Alert System is a centralized system with a GIS based user interface enabling the emergency authorities to select or draw the area on the digital map. The system will immediately identify all fix phones, cell phones and visitors within the affected area and alert them.
UMS Population Alert System gives detailed logistic information, such as number of people within the affected area, identifies types of nationality and offer emergency messages accordingly.The system will also monitor and localize citizens responding that they are in need of help.
